Public Safety, because of a failure to pay Richton Police Department the $118.00 that I still owed on my fine, my driving license has now been suspended. I have been trying to get a job (laid off from the oilfield) and now have a really good prospect to go to work next week, but for the past 3 months we have had to go on food stamps and just started getting a little unemployment. My wife is disabled and so is my son, who has cerebral palsy, so neither can drive. We have really been struggling and just really forgot to bring you an installment, as we had been doing each Monday when I got paid in Laurel and as we returned to our home in Lucedale. We never even got a letter from you, so as to post on our "To Do Board", all we got was one phone call from you. My wife and I would buy all of our horse feed from your town, we brought groceries at Ramey's and always stopped at Ward's and Tater's. We even spent over $1000 for swing set materials from your feed/hardware store on when we go a Christmas bonus! I was even working a young man from there, picking him up and dropping him off after the jobs! His mother is a prominent citizen. Now, because of this, I cannot even drive myself to look for a job. All you had to do was to write one letter or, at the least, give us a second call. Thank You so much for your kindness Stephen Bonner Williams Lucedale, Mississippi.
