Turkey Fork far exceeded my expectations. The tent sites are a very short 1-3 minute walk from the parking lot. Set back in the pine trees, the spots have large, level pads filled with gravel to pitch your tent. They also have nice picnic tables, trash hangers, and a large fire pit that you can easily cook on. We found many places right next to us to put up our hammocks and relax all day. The bathrooms and water are only a short walk away and are in good shape. The bathrooms were very clean and the showers appeared to be free and have hot water. For only $7/night (for tents), this is an awesome place to camp.
A small park and very quiet and relaxing. It is off the beaten path and we hope it stays that way.
Really peaceful
We camp here a few times a year and we always have a great time. It's a clean peaceful and quiet place, perfect for family. The campsites are first come first serve at $20 a day. Great place to get away!
